I have found that after taking the drug Speed or recently Adderall when I begin to come down from it I begin to see Faeries. This has happened on several occasions. I know the taboo most people have against that drug but I find it even more powerful than acid, mushrooms or even Ayahuasca in opening the portal to "Faerie". The creatures I see are not like a dreamy type illusions that you get from the psychedelics I have done but these creatures are real. Hands that move, little bodies or in some cases larger. I have even seen them move physical objects around while watching. Sometimes the creatures are superimposed upon physical objects in the room & sometimes independent. I know this is real. I can't explain it but it has definitely opened my eyes to the fact things like Faeries really do exist. I am not sure why Speed would open this doorway to another dimension of reality but it does for me. I wonder what other people think & if anyone else has had any experiences similar to mine.

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Sun, February 1, 2009 - 7:06 AMHi Ariel
Great post. and yes it does sound very familiar but I can't place it just yet.
A working theory is that these realms are in different frequencies, like a spinning wheel you can't see the spokes. The speed gets some of your perceptions (or brain even) up to the same sync speed to see them.
Also training fro Faerie sight starts with the edges of vision where there's more sensitivity and contrast.

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Mon, February 2, 2009 - 7:00 PMI believe Faeries are in dimensions close to ours, even touching ours.. sometimes interwoven together. We normally don't perceive these dimensions because of what we are brought up to believe is real & solid. I believe in alternate universes also mixed in with our own. A drug like speed I think opens these portals of reality & helps expand your awareness. These things or creatures are around us all the time we just are not in place to see them.
I have often heard that to begin to see Faeries you should pay attention to what is going on in your peripheral vision & the corners of your eyes. The great thing about the drug is that you can really begin to open up your visions & it is not only what is in the peripheral that you see, suddenly your eyes are seeing these creatures all around you.
I've talked with a close friend of mine who also told me she saw Faeries mostly when she did speed or Adderall. I have a good feeling that I am not the only one. The message they conveyed to me was something like, "Wow, you can see us.. we will try to entertain you the best we can since you can see us now." I was even called a Magician by the Faeries. I felt proud of the fact they called me this. They didn't talk verbally very much this was the only real thing I heard them say but they often communicated telepathically to me. I'm pretty sure when you die it is also a similar experience & your eyes are suddenly aware of invisible energy beings all around you. I personally am looking forward to the day I die. I want to rejoin the Faeries as soon as I can. They are amazing & beautiful.. -

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Tue, February 3, 2009 - 7:15 AMGood men, this comes from an older hippified sort that always heeded the warning back then ('60s): "Speed Kills." Correct me if the term refers to a different thing today. I'm not wrist slapping. I just don't like the thought of losing more magical people before their time.
I do believe that mind altering drugs open doorways to parallel existence. I believe it really IS possible to see what has always been around us. And this comes from my experience. Just please be careful.
Note: I've never been more of a believer than when after coming home from a gay men's spiritual gathering up on a mountain top in North Carolina, I saw a huge faery ring of mushrooms/toadstools in my front yard. I still believe that because of heightened awareness after that event, that what might other wise have a traditional scientific explanation was, after all, an acknowledgment. There's a picture in the gallery of this tribe. My yard, "Pan's Grove" hopefully welcomes them. -

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Tue, February 17, 2009 - 7:46 AMWell i would say that anything that is a major psychoactive (such as methamphetamine and their derivatives) can sufficiently disorient your sensory interpretation of incoming information to allow you to perceive things that you might not normally have access to, however it is akin to using a crowbar to smash open the door, and can be extremely dangerous. Much more effective form the long term to learn to access alternate states of consciousness through the active control of your own biochemistry though meditation, yoga etc.
Plus the Fae are not know to appreciate uninvited guests.. -

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Sun, February 22, 2009 - 11:12 AMI agree with Ciaran, I think training oneself to be in the right mindset to be receptive to faerie is a more respectful way to go. After all, there are so many stories of faeries finding humans who they wish to bring back, who favor those humans because of something that appeals to them; such as being able to play some sort of melody, or being proficient at gardening, or being particularly innocent or open minded.
Also, I have to say (though I may get a lot of crap for it later) my personal opinion on using psychoactive or other drugs in order to see faeries seems a bit unlikely out to me. They alter your perceptions, true, but alter what is already going on inside your brain. If you've been thinking about faeries a lot, then chances are your own brain will take a cue from that, and any visions experienced will have to do with it. But I think it is your own mind looking at other things within your own mind. For vision quests, and learning about oneself, drugs might be a catalyst, but the world/dimension of faery is something separate from us, and thus can more likely be seen, as Ciaran said, through meditation or the like, and truly opening up to things other than ourselves.

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Sun, April 12, 2009 - 4:56 PMAriel, I believe the Speed really is opening "the veil" for you to see these Beings. But I agree with others here-- be careful with it, because though it will help your psychic vision, it will kill your body and possibly brain cells. If you are taking any type of drug, you should be treating your liver very carefully as well. Make sure to avoid alcohol- and to do some herbal cleansings.. colon cleansing, liver cleansing by taking milk thistle three times a day for 2 weeks straight . Drugs will bite you in the back by messing with your liver-- so take care of your liver.
Don't permit yourself to become dependent on Speed to see the Fae. You will pay the price for it if your'e not careful. Like others said here, start meditation to open your unused senses. Try to avoid things like flu shots and vaccines which are known to shut off psychic ablilities. Get a Reiki treatment once a month-- that will open your chakras and help your 3rd eye to open more.
Just don't rely on drugs too much because though they do open the 6th sense, they will bite you in the butt later.
The Fae telling you that you are like some magician is a stroke to your ego-- a little flattery, but try to stay grounded from this ego boost.
Try to develop your spiritual senses so that you can sense them in other ways besides Vision. and love them. One day you will probably be working with them -- provided you dont commit suicide to do this- but wait the proper timing in your life.

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Sun, February 22, 2009 - 4:19 PMI think everything is alright in moderation. I don't think I would have such a strong belief in Faerie's now if I had not used these substances to experience them. I do not believe it is all my mind. I believe there are separate entities from me who exist in dimensions normally unseen. Taking a drug can help open the doorways that are normally closed. It allows you to tear down the normal barriers we have & are raised with. If a child was constantly encouraged to see Faeries I think they would develop into an adult who could still see them. But often times children are ridiculed for any such beliefs & are told it is only their imagination. If your repeatedly told something even though it may not be true you are apt to believe it. I think children should be raised with the idea that other worldly creatures do exist. I think it's a shame that most children are raised to only believe in things they are told are true. -

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Thu, August 6, 2009 - 12:06 AMWell...she did say, "more recently, Aderall"...which is a controlled and modified form of "speed" used to treat Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Maybe Ariel's got ADD or ADHD and doesn't know it, and taking these drugs actually puts her brain at what would generally be the "norm" in terms of brain wave activity. Which could be one reason why she is seeing Faeries...she is able to focus her brain more easily, which is basically what Aderall and Ritalin do. Speaking as someone who has had a couple friends with ADD/ADHD.
But street drugs are yucky. You never really know what you are getting unless you are the one making/growing them. Brian Froud even did a painting of "Lys of the Shadows" the Faery who brings light and hope to the darkness and despair which drug abusers sometimes fall into...www.worldoffroud.com/www/onl...d-44.htm
Please be careful. Aderall is much safer in a controlled dosage than street drugs. I recommend meditation, dream work, and leaving offerings or other creative communicative endeavors (to contact the Faery Realm).
Namaste. -

Re: Speed, the doorway to "Faerie"?!
Thu, August 13, 2009 - 7:02 PMAriel, I saw a faery last May- and it was after I prayed that God would reveal if they existed , or not. HE heard my prayer because a month later-- unexpectedly, I was looking at one face to face-- and this encounter changed my life forever.
I wasnt on drugs when the veil was lifted either. So I do agree with you that they are definitely real. I also agree that the Speed is opening you up somehow so you can actually see them--
I am just concerned for your body and soul- because drugs do have side effects- and with the threat of mandatory swine flu vaccination over the horizon, you are going to want to keep your liver (the liver detoxes toxins) in top shape.
